“Rays of Sunshine”

“I collected May from the station the day before my mother came home. Mum had not enjoyed hospital. I will always remember the look on her face beaming in the sunshine when May took Mum down to the garden for some sunshine and to look at the fishpond and flowers and she told me “ I feel like I’ve died and gone to heaven”. She was really happy for the next three weeks having the company and care of May and I am grateful to Otus and May for bringing rays of sunshine into my mother’s last weeks”.
