“Calm, Patient and Kind”

I have used Otus for live-in care for my elderly mum for two and a half years.  Since the very first contact with Paul just before Christmas in 2023, I felt completely confident in them. Paul gave me down-to-earth and sensible advice.  My Mum was frail and very elderly and initially very reluctant to have anyone live in – but she realised it was either this option, or a care home, and the latter she was desperate to avoid.  Despite being so close to Christmas and an early hospital discharge, the carer was waiting for us when my Mum came out of hospital – she’d cleaned the house, prepared a delicious hot meal, and, more importantly, was welcoming, calm, patient and kind.  Mother of Mrs B – Essex July 2026
