At Otus, our carers are just as important as our clients. We get to know you and work with you to ensure that you have a work pattern that reflects your preferences. We make sure you have a full and honest briefing for every client we introduce you to. We want you to be happy in your work because in our experience, a carer who is getting job satisfaction delivers the best care. As a registered carer with Otus Live-In Care a typical work pattern will be two weeks for an initial engagement. Then, depending on your availability and a client’s requirements, this could be extended when you return. In addition to board and lodgings and travel expenses (agreed at the onset with the client) a carer can earn up to £850 (if looking after a couple) per week and if the engagement covers a period that includes a Bank Holiday, the daily rate is double time.
Our clients are based all over the UK so it really doesn’t matter where you live as long as you have the right skills and experience we can introduce for work that pays well and delivers job satisfaction. You will be self employed, responsible for your own tax and National Insurance payments and will be paid directly by the client.
